Platform Software Analyst for a University
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Partner need for a University Management Software Analyst to analyze the software that manages all the processes of a university. This position will be in the technology division of our partner and will perform a full analysis of university software processes.
The applicant should be in Istanbul / Turkey.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Functionality analysis: It is determined which functions the software performs. In this step, key functions such as student registration, syllabus preparation, exam planning and grade entry, scholarship and student fee collection, student information systems, personnel management, department and faculty management, library management, research management can be determined.
Data model analysis: It is determined which data the software manages. In this step, master data models such as student enrollment information, courses and grades, scholarship and fee information, personnel information, lecturers and students' research information can be determined.
User analysis: It is necessary to identify the users using the software. In this step, users such as students, lecturers, staff and administrators can be determined.
Process analysis: It is determined which processes the software manages. In this step, key factors such as student registration process, syllabus preparation process, exam planning and grade entry process, scholarship and student fee collection process, student information systems process, personnel management process, department and faculty management process, library management process, research management process. processes can be determined.
Security analysis of the software: What measures the software takes to ensure the security of users' data, features such as encryption, authorization, authentication, access control should be determined.
Performance analysis of the software: The performance of the software, its criteria and what to do for performance improvement should be evaluated.
Source code analysis of the software: By examining the source code of the software, how the software works, its features and security vulnerabilities can be determined.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Knowledge and experience in data modeling, functional analysis and software testing
Knowledge of software development and project management
Being an experienced software analyst capable of source code analysis
Have communication and coordination skills
be prone to teamwork
