IT4IT Data Modeler for Azure Databricks Transition

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT4IT Data Modeler with strong expertise in The Open Group
IT4ITTM Reference Architecture and hands-on experience with enterprise IT systems and data
modeling. The role involves supporting an enterprise client’s Data Strategy and Implementation
initiative as they transition from Azure SQL-based architecture to Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) on
Azure Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain data models and mappings aligned with IT4IT standards and
Open Group frameworks.
• Analyze and structure data from key enterprise IT and OT systems such as ServiceNow,
Workday, Cisco, Jira, Dynatrace, and others.
• Define data domains, key data objects, and relationships across IT4IT functional areas (Plan,
Build, Deliver, Run).
• Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to enable migration from Azure SQL to
Databricks-based EDP.
• Contribute to metadata management, lineage tracking, and data quality framework design.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data architecture with data governance and strategic business
outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience in data modeling, enterprise data strategy, or data
architecture. • Solid understanding of IT4IT Reference Architecture (Open Group).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT platforms such as ServiceNow, Workday, Cisco, Jira, Dynatrace,
Splunk, and similar systems.
• Strong conceptual knowledge of data governance, data domains, and business object
modeling. • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
• Exposure to ServiceNow CMDB or data cataloging tools.

• Working knowledge of data product architecture and data mesh principles.
• Understanding of TOGAF or other Open Group standards.
