Job ID: 39930700

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

One-line description:
Develop and Web-Enable Excel Dashboard with Queryable Database and Update Rules

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Excel consultant to help us convert an existing Excel prototype into a fully functional, web-accessible analytical dashboard. The solution should remain Excel-based but must allow users to interact with the dashboard through a browser (e.g., Excel Online / SharePoint).

The assignment includes designing a structured data repository within Excel, building interactive dashboards that can be filtered or queried by multiple criteria, and defining clear rules for maintaining and updating the data.

Scope of Work:

Design a structured data model (multiple interlinked tabs or tables) that can be filtered by various attributes such as product, category, or theme.

Create dynamic dashboards in Excel that allow users to select filters or comparators and view the relevant text or metrics.

Develop a data-entry / update template for adding new records or products consistently.

Document the governance rules for updating the database and refreshing dashboards.

Optimize the workbook for web access via Excel Online / OneDrive / SharePoint (macro-free preferred).

Provide guidance on protection, user permissions, and best practices for hosting Excel dashboards on the web.

Deliverables:

A clean, professional Excel dashboard optimized for Excel Online.

Input and reference sheets for structured data entry.

Documentation explaining maintenance, updates, and data validation logic.

Optional: lightweight automation for publishing / versioning on SharePoint.

Required Skills:

Advanced Excel (dynamic arrays, FILTER, XLOOKUP, LET, data validation, structured tables).

Dashboard design using charts, slicers, conditional formatting, and formula-driven interactivity.

Experience with Excel Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint for sharing and hosting dashboards.

Familiarity with Power Query or Power Pivot for data modeling and refresh automation.

Optional but desirable: experience in Excel-to-web integration or VBA to automate publishing steps.

Ideal Candidate:

Has previously created Excel dashboards deployed on SharePoint or Excel Online.

Understands data structuring, workbook optimization, and user experience in web-based Excel.

Communicates clearly and documents the logic and update steps.
