Conceptual Data Model Creation

Job ID: 40097878

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I’m looking for a seasoned data modeler who can take my raw business requirements and turn them into a clean, easy-to-read conceptual data model. Logical and physical data models. The sso the focus should stay at the high-level entities, their key attributes, and the relationships that knit them together.

I’ll share a brief describing the business context, core processes, and the questions we need the data to answer. From there, I’d like you to translate that narrative into an entity-relationship diagram using a standard notation (Crow’s Foot or UML are both fine) in a mainstream tool—ERwin, ER/Studio, Lucidchart, or an equivalent you’re comfortable with.

Deliverables
• Source file of the diagram in the chosen tool
• PDF or PNG export suitable for slide decks and documentation
• A short write-up (one page is enough) explaining each entity and relationship, including any assumptions you made

Acceptance criteria
• All key business concepts appear as entities with clear, non-redundant names
• Relationships include cardinality and optionality where appropriate
• No attribute-level detail beyond what is necessary at the conceptual layer
• Diagram and notes are understandable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

We’ll iterate once or twice if minor tweaks are needed. If this sounds like a fit, please let me know your typical turnaround time and any past samples you can share.
