Azure Technical Architect - MDM-ETL
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
Responsibilities
• Plan and lead MDM requirement analysis sessions with business users
• Coordinate MDM program activities for the customer producer location and prospect data domains
• Conduct source system analysis and data profiling for lifecycle management.
• Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of a MDM solution
• Define requirements for data matching and merging rules survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows that can be deployed in the endorsed MDM solution
• Thorough understanding of deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies and master data hierarchy management
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture teams (data integration data architecture business intelligence) to develop and deliver MDM solutions.
• Work with Architecture Review Board and Change Approval Board for technical reviews and approvals through the system development life-cycle.
• Responsibilities include designing & developing ETL, MDM solutions and data service integration around Customer Data initiatives.
• Participate in Product design and business application requirement sessions. Person is expected to be familiar with standard industry Data Integration frameworks. Knowledge of leasing, rentals and auto industry specific domain preferred
• Work with Architects towards High Level Solution Design and translate to Low Level Design
• Hands on Design and Development along with providing technical SME & hands-on coding including guidance to resources both onsite and offshore
• Conduct Design and Code reviews. Should be able to manage concurrent project implementations.
• Implement CI/CD processes
• Adhere to Agile Methodologies
• Engage in Production deployment release planning & ETL performance monitoring.
• Engage with prod support teams for troubleshooting defects and any escalations thereof.
• Be able to multi-task multiple projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Architects, Project Managers, Business Users besides inter-department synergies.
• Technical experience and knowledge in Cloud Data Warehousing, data migration and data transformation
• Develop and test ETL components to high standards of data quality and performance as a hands-on development lead
• Familiarity with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, MDM, BI, Dashboards, AI, ML
• Design data architecture patterns and ecosystems including data stores (operational systems, data lakes, data warehouses, data marts), ingress patterns (API, streaming, ETLELT), and egress patterns (analyticsdecision tools, BI tools). Lead, consult or oversee multiple architectural engagements
• Oversee and contribute to the creation and maintenance of relevant data artifacts (data lineages, source to target mappings, high level designs, interface agreements, etc.) in compliance with enterprise level architecture standards
• Experience in leading and delivering data centric projects with concentration on Data Quality and adherence to data standards and best practices.
• Experience in data modeling, metadata support, development and testing for enterprise wide data solutions
• Azure cloud experience is a must have with familiarity of the services: data integration, data processing, data management, data storage – azure data factory, synapse, eventhub, azuredevops, blob storage, etc.
• Experience creating golden records for customers, products, services and other subject areas
