Advanced SQL and Data Modeling Tutoring
Budget: $8 – $15 CAD
I’m ready to move beyond the basics of SQL and need a mentor who can take me from my current intermediate skill set to true mastery. In our sessions I want to dive deep into complex joins, make full use of window functions, and build reliable stored procedures that follow best-practice patterns.
On the data-modeling side, I’d like to work through entity-relationship diagrams, dimensional/star-schema design, and practical normalization techniques. I learn fastest with hands-on exercises, so each topic should include real-world examples and short assignments that I can implement on my own environment between calls.
By the end of the engagement I should be able to:
• write and troubleshoot multi-table queries that rely on intricate join logic
• design reusable window-function patterns for analytics workloads
• package business logic inside efficient, maintainable stored procedures
• draft ERDs, convert them into normalized physical schemas, and then adapt them into a dimensional model suitable for reporting
I’m flexible on scheduling but prefer live, screen-shared sessions (Zoom or similar) plus annotated scripts or notebooks I can keep for future reference. If this fits your teaching style, let’s map out an initial curriculum and get started.
