Performance project using Data mining. Tips to get started

I'm an artist. I'm working on a performance that include a section where the audience can get a prediction about their future after "paying" with their own data.
I would like to have a chat with a programmer that is able to give me some tips related on what it's possible to do, which tools I might need etc.
After that we can consider to continue our dialog and start the work.
