Requirements Analysis:
a. Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather system requirements
b. Document use cases and user stories
c. Define data schema and relationship mapping for JanusGraph
d. Assess technical constraints and system integrations
Planning and Design:
a. Select the datastore (HBase or Cassandra) after analysing performance and scalability
b. Define the JanusGraph schema, data model, and query patterns
c. Plan data migration strategy and sequence from Elasticsearch to JanusGraph
d. Design the algorithm for relationship creation between Main party and Other party
e. Evaluate visualization libraries and choose the most appropriate for the Link Analysis chart
f. Create a project timeline and resource allocation plan
Implementation:
a. Install and configure JanusGraph 1.0.0-rc2 with the selected datastore
b. Set up the Elasticsearch-JanusGraph connector
c. Write scripts or develop a tool to migrate data from Elasticsearch to JanusGraph
d. Create indexes (BTR, FIFO, etc.) in JanusGraph based on the defined requirements
e. Implement relationship creation logic for Main party and Other party
f. Develop the Link Analysis chart using the selected visualization library
g. Integrate the Link Analysis chart with the existing application or develop a standalone interface
Testing:
a. Perform unit testing for individual components (data migration, relationship creation, etc.)
b. Conduct integration testing to ensure the system works as a whole
c. Test the performance and scalability of the JanusGraph setup with a representative dataset
d. Validate the correctness and completeness of the data migration
e. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for the Link Analysis chart and gather feedback
Deployment:
a. Prepare the production environment for JanusGraph deployment
b. Execute the data migration process in the production environment
c. Monitor the deployment for any issues and address them as needed
d. Conduct a post-deployment review to identify areas for improvement
Maintenance and Support:
a. Provide ongoing technical support and bug fixes
b. Monitor the performance of the JanusGraph setup and optimize as necessary
