Global Sports Clubs Database Development
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I am seeking a competent data miner to construct a comprehensive database that includes various sports clubs around the world and their relevant recruiting contacts. The sports to be included are Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Football, Volleyball, Rugby, Hockey, Lacrosse, and Softball.
This project specifically requires contact information for professional clubs exclusively, no amateur clubs. To be included in the database for each sports club are the following fields:
- Email
- Phone number
- Social media handles
- Scouting Department
- Director of Player Personnel
- Head Coach/Coaching Staff
- Player Development Director
- Academy Coaches/Youth Development
- General Manager/Sporting Director
- Player Agents/Representatives
- Club President/Board of Director
Candidates ideally have experience in data mining and collection, are knowledgeable about sports organizations' structures, and have excellent attention to detail. The database must be accurate, updated, and organized. Previous work on related tasks is a plus.
We are interested in clubs that are in the top 2 or 3 divisions in the country. After that create a database of relevant contacts responsible for athletic talent recruiting (Scouts, Head Coaches, Managers. The chosen candidate after successful completion of this task will be offered additional ongoing projects in our organization related to campaigns and contacts with found organizations and their representatives.
Suggested steps:
1. Research ready directories of clubs and copy to our database.
2. Create a list of International Sport Federations
3. Pull the contacts to country member organizations (National Federations) for each sport.
4. Contact National Federations requesting professional club directory and contacts.
5. Once the club database is completed, research key personnel and create a contact list
6. Find contacts.
