Data Mining - Alternative Protein Industry

The project is about the alternative protein industry (plant-based drinks & food), and the deliverables include the following:

1. Consumption and production of alternative protein products in different regions (EU-28, North America, South -America, Asia, Oceania, Africa)

2. Top 15 Global processing companies (expressed in global market share based on turnover). For each company please provide detailed elements as follows: (collected in an excel sheet)
- Headquarters address, country of origin
- the type of company (family, public, etc),
- products manufactured, brands & co-manufacturing activity if relevant
- Number of production sites & key countries of presence
- Positioning, strategy
- CSR objectives & targets, focusing on climate, carbon, energy, water, packaging, organic waste, and circularity, with timeline & if relevant, split by scopes 1/2/3

3. Top 5 production sites in each region: EU28 (country-by-country), North America, Latin America, Asia, Pacific, Middle East, information include:
- Name
- Location
- Parent company
- Products manufactured (e.g. soy-based milk alternative, coco-based ice cream, pea-based meat alternative)
- Production (expressed in tonnes of products or million Litre for beverage);
- Energy consumption (in TOE, tonne oil equivalent, or MWh); % of electricity/fuel if it is possible
- Water consumption (in millions of liters)
- Total production in the country in order to make a gap analysis for coverage

*The Spreadsheet shall contain one table with all the original data
*Dataset information shall be provided preferably for year 2021, or 2020 or 2019
*Data sources need to be clearly indicated (complete bibliography)
