Backscatter Hydrographic survey Interpretation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can assist me with the interpretation of a backscatter hydrographic survey conducted in the ocean using sonar technology. The main focus of the interpretation will be seabed classification.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in backscatter hydrographic survey interpretation
- Proficiency in analyzing sonar data
- Strong understanding of seabed classification techniques
- Familiarity with marine environments and their unique characteristics
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret and classify different types of seabed features
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools for data analysis and interpretation
What I require is a detailed report containing the following:
- Backscatter Image/Chart with interpretation
- Boulders, debris, obstructions listing
I may additionally require (not confirmed but it is best to add these details separately in your quote:
- Bathymetric Chart
- Sun illumination chart (DTM with appropriate colors and inclusion of Background image)
- 3d image of seabed
What I will provide is access to the following
- Raw data
- Backscatter image in Tif format
- Gridded XYZ processed data
- Ungridded XYZ Processed Data
