Advanced Data Science Specialist Needed

I am looking for a talented data scientist and/or developer to create a betting site that will provide various statistics. I will provide sample sites in the message that can be referenced. You will be using a data scraping tool like Octoparse to scrape data, put in a database, and then provide a way to continue to scrape data for daily updates (or multiple times daily when run). I would prefer for the developer to use Python as a web front to provide selectable analysis. You create a robust and innovative predictive algorithm centered on game outcomes across multiple sports. In addition, I would like this to all surround around an API for the web front. The daily updates and already historical data will be used to generate accurate predictions. This task requires a freelancer with a deep understanding of sports analytics and proficiency in algorithmic development.
Requirements and responsibilities include:
- Python Experience
- Strong background in data science and statistical analysis.
- Experience with sports betting data and understanding of how betting lines influence game outcomes.
- Ability to process and analyze input data including head to head analysis of players and teams based on already identified data sets that will be provided.
- Knowledge in handling and integrating various forms of data to compare team and player stats accurately.
- Developing a simple and user-friendly interface for sports bet placement and management.
- Integrating a functional order book.
- Implementing a reliable matching engine to ensure effective and efficient bet matching.
- Incorporating testing strategies to guarantee usability and performance.
- Proficiency in programming languages suited for data analysis and predictive modeling, such as Python or R. (Open to other ideas)
