Windows 11 Storage Reorganization Expert
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Project Details
$10.00 – 30.00 USD
My Dell desktop is running Windows 11 and right now everything insists on landing in the OS (C:) drive. I need an expert who can safely reorganise the storage so everyday files go where they belong without risking my data or the operating system.
Here is what I’m trying to achieve
• Documents and media files stored in an easy-to-find folder structure on the data drive
• Program files and new applications installed to the secondary location when appropriate, leaving only core Windows items on C:
• A dedicated area for backup and system images that keeps them off the crowded OS partition
I already know Windows lets you change default save locations, but I’m uncomfortable doing the registry edits, disk-management changes or symbolic links that may be required. I’d like you to walk me through the plan, carry out the configuration (preferably via a secure remote session) and verify everything is working: new documents drop into the right folders, apps install where we want them, and Windows updates continue without complaint.
Please let me know the steps you’ll take and how long the session is likely to last. I’m ready to begin as soon as we confirm the approach.
