Topography & Land Cover Map Digitization

Job ID: 40264512

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need help turning a collection of existing digital map files into clean, GIS-ready shapefiles. The source material already exists as digital topographical maps and land-use / land-cover maps, so no scanning is required—just careful conversion.

Here’s what I’m expecting:
• One consolidated .shp (with .shx, .dbf, .prj) for each source map theme—topography and LULC—accurately georeferenced to the same coordinate system as the originals.
• Clearly named attribute fields that mirror the original legend or layer structure.
• Topology checked so polygons close properly and linework is snapped where appropriate.
• Delivery of all working files plus a quick “read-me” summarising projection details and any assumptions you had to make.

If you prefer to work in ArcGIS, QGIS or another standard GIS tool, that’s fine by me as long as the final output is a rock-solid shapefile set ready for immediate use in my own QGIS environment.

I’ll supply the source files, legends and any additional reference layers as soon as we start. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and a brief outline of the steps you’ll take so I can be sure the data integrity stays intact.
