Raw Material Inventory Data Cleanup

Our raw-material stock ledger lives in a handful of aging spreadsheets, and they no longer keep pace with daily production demands. I need an Inventory Data Specialist who can take charge of two core responsibilities: first, keeping every line item current, accurate, and duplication-free; second, turning that cleaned data into concise, decision-ready reports.

The job revolves around manual spreadsheets only—no ERP or dedicated inventory software in place yet—so strong command of Excel or Google Sheets (functions, lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, error checking) is essential. Raw materials range from basic commodities to specialty inputs, each tracked by SKU, lot, and expiry date.

What success looks like
• A single, master spreadsheet that replaces scattered files and uses clear naming conventions, validation rules, and automated formulas for on-hand, in-transit, and reserved quantities.
• Weekly summary and variance reports that highlight shortages, slow-moving items, and reorder triggers, delivered in an easy-to-read dashboard or pivot view.
• Documented workflow explaining how updates are made so anyone on the team can follow the process.

I will provide all existing files, field definitions, and counting schedules. The first milestone is a data audit and clean-up of current stock; the second applies reporting logic; the final handoff confirms everything reconciles with our physical counts.
