Because no template exists yet, the first step is to design a workbook layout that groups the data logically, uses appropriate data types, and includes basic validation to minimise entry errors. Once the format is approved, enter all supplied records, double-checking for typos, misplaced decimals, and inconsistent labels.

Key deliverables:
• Custom Excel template with clear headings, data-validation rules, and any helpful drop-down lists
• Complete population of every row and column from the source material, keeping the original ordering where required
• A brief hand-off note summarising any assumptions made, data issues spotted, and suggestions for ongoing maintenance
