Organize Raw Data into Excel
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a collection of unorganized raw data sitting in assorted text files and PDFs that I need transformed into a single, clean Excel workbook. The task is strictly Excel spreadsheet management focused on data entry and updating—no complex analysis or dashboarding.
You will:
• Transfer every record into one .xlsx file, creating clear column headers that match the categories I provide (e.g., product, date, region).
• Standardize formats for dates, numbers, and text so everything is consistent and sortable.
• Remove duplicates, fill in obvious gaps, and apply basic formatting such as filters and freeze panes for easy navigation.
• Re-check your entries against the source material to ensure the sheet is 100 % accurate, then supply a brief change log noting any uncertainties or assumptions.
A solid grasp of Excel shortcuts, data validation, and simple formulas like SUM or COUNTIF will keep the workflow smooth, but the main deliverable is an accurately populated, well-structured spreadsheet ready for immediate use.
