Microsoft Access HRM Database Build

Job ID: 39820047

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a complete HR-focused database built in Microsoft Access. The goal is to have a clean, relational structure with intuitive forms, practical queries, and printable reports that let my team manage day-to-day HR tasks without touching raw tables.

Scope of data
The system will hold classic HRM data—employee details, job titles, teams/locations, skills, training history, fleet & vehicle assignments, plus a full leave-management log. Payroll is out of scope for now.

Core functionality
• Employee records management: add, edit, archive staff with photo upload and status flags.
• Leave management: request, approve, track balances and generate monthly leave reports.
• Training & skills: record courses, expiry dates, competencies, and issue reminders.
• Organizational structure: maintain departments, teams, locations and job titles.
• Fleet & vehicles: assign vehicles to employees, track documents and service dates.

Key deliverables
1. Normalized Access tables with primary/foreign keys that enforce referential integrity.
2. User-friendly forms for all day-to-day entry tasks, with lookup combos and basic validation.
3. Parameterised queries for quick filtering (e.g., “employees expiring training in 30 days”).
4. Reports: active staff list, leave balance sheet, upcoming training expiry, fleet register.
5. A simple switchboard or navigation menu so non-technical users can move around easily.

Acceptance criteria
– No orphan records when any parent record is deleted.
– All dropdowns populated from lookup tables, never hard-coded.
– Reports fit on A4 in both print preview and PDF export.
– Delivered as a single .accdb file compatible with Access 2016+.

If you are comfortable designing relational schemas, writing Access queries, and polishing forms with basic VBA where needed, let’s discuss timeline and milestones.
