Master Data Cleaning & Merge

I have extracted 1-3 datasets directly from our database and now need them cleaned, de-duplicated, matched and merged into a single, reliable master spreadsheet. The work calls for solid Excel skills—think formulas, Power Query or VBA where helpful—to standardise field names, correct formatting issues, eliminate duplicates and flag any mismatched records before the final consolidation.

Here is what I expect:
• A pristine master file containing every unique record, ready for immediate business use.
• A brief change log or summary that highlights key cleaning steps and any assumptions made, so the process is transparent and repeatable.
