Fix Cyclone BLK360 Export Crashes

Job ID: 40291411

Budget: £5 – £10 GBP

I’m working in Leica Cyclone BLK360 Edition and every time I try to export a consolidated RCP or a single E57 the program crashes mid-export. The crash happens consistently during the export process—never at launch or after completion—so I never get a usable file out of the workflow.

My workstation has 32 GB of RAM, yet the project itself sits at roughly 80 GB, so I suspect there may be a memory-management or cache issue behind the failure. I’ve already tried the obvious fixes: rebooting, reinstalling Cyclone, and clearing all temp and cache folders, but the problem persists.

I need someone who understands Cyclone BLK360 Edition (and ideally the nuances of RCP/E57 generation) to:

• Diagnose the precise cause of the crash—whether it’s hardware limits, a corrupt bundle, version mismatch, or something else.
• Provide and implement a clear fix or workflow adjustment so I can export both an RCP and a single-file E57 without errors.
• Give me a brief, easy-to-follow note of any settings or steps I should repeat on future projects to avoid the same issue.

A successful outcome is simple: Cyclone completes the export and the resulting files open correctly in Autodesk ReCap or any standard E57 viewer. I can make the project folder and crash logs available via secure transfer as soon as we start.
