Excel Numerical Data Organization
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have several Excel spreadsheets filled with raw numerical figures that now need disciplined structure. Your task is to take these numbers, tidy up the worksheets, and present everything in a clear, consistent format so that my team can find what they need at a glance.
Here’s the flow I have in mind:
• Consolidate the separate files or tabs (where it makes sense) into a single, well-labeled workbook.
• Check for duplicate rows, inconsistent decimal places, and any obvious entry errors, correcting them as you go.
• Apply uniform column headings, filters, and cell formatting so every sheet follows the same logic.
• Re-order or group the data for quick reference—sorting chronologically, alphabetically, or by value where appropriate.
• Add a high-level summary or index sheet if it helps navigation.
I work exclusively in Microsoft Excel, so please be comfortable using functions such as sort & filter, conditional formatting, and basic formulas (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE, COUNTIF). No analysis is required—just thoughtful, meticulous organization that transforms scattered numbers into an intuitive, ready-to-use workbook.
When you’re finished, I should be able to open the file and instantly understand the structure without hunting for anything. If that sounds straightforward to you, let’s get started.
