Excel Customer Data Cleanup
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have several spreadsheets containing customer information that now need a thorough refresh. The work centres on three areas—spreadsheet management, data cleaning, and ongoing database updates—all to be carried out in Microsoft Excel.
Here’s the flow I have in mind. First, you’ll consolidate the existing files into a single, well-structured workbook. From there, every record must be examined for duplicates, inconsistent formats, and incomplete fields. Once the data is clean, I’ll need the master file updated with any new or corrected entries and a brief log that explains what was changed.
Deliverables
• A consolidated, fully cleaned Excel workbook of all customer data
• A change log or short report summarising duplicates removed, fields standardised, and any records flagged for follow-up
Acceptance criteria
• No duplicate customer IDs or email addresses remain
• Name, phone, and address fields follow one consistent format across the sheet
• The file opens without errors and all formulas, filters, and data-validation rules are intact
If you’re comfortable working end-to-end in Excel and can turn this around accurately and on time, I’m ready to move forward.
