I have a spreadsheet containing about one thousand academic article citations—titles, authors. Every item must be located through freely accessible online databases only (for example PubMed Central, DOAJ, arXiv, institutional repositories, or any other open-access source you find effective) and saved in PDF format.
The job is straightforward: locate each article, download the PDF, and rename it a specific ID number. Then place all files in clearly organised sub-folders and return them to me in a single compressed archive. At the same time, please update my spreadsheet with a “Downloaded / Not Found” status and, where relevant, the URL of the source so I can verify provenance.
Accuracy matters more than speed—every article must match the citation exactly, and only legitimate open-access copies are acceptable. If an article is genuinely unavailable for free, mark it “Not Found”; do not substitute paywalled or incomplete versions. A random sample check of at least 50 files will serve as acceptance criteria.
