Customer Data CSV to Excel
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I maintain an Excel workbook that feeds our sales dashboards, and each week I receive one or more CSV exports containing fresh customer information. I need those new rows appended to the correct table in the workbook without disturbing the existing formulas, formats, or pivot sources.
The CSV layout is consistent, but the column order is not identical to the Excel sheet, so a quick copy-paste won’t do; the data has to be mapped correctly (name, email, phone, region, customer ID, etc.) and checked for duplicates before it lands in the master table. If you prefer Power Query, VBA, or another repeatable method, that’s fine—the key is that I can run the same process next time with minimal effort.
Deliverables
• Updated Excel file with this week’s customer records inserted and validated
• A clear, one-paragraph note (or macro/buttons if you automate it) so I can repeat the import with future CSV files
Accuracy matters more than speed, but I’d like the first update back quickly so we can put it straight into the monthly sales report.
