Company Customer Database Setup

I need a well-structured database focused on storing customer details for my company. I have not locked myself into any single platform, so I’m open to either a traditional SQL solution (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) or a NoSQL option (MongoDB, Firestore) if you can explain why it’s the better fit.

Scope of work
• Analyse my current customer information flow and recommend the most suitable database architecture.
• Design the schema to hold core customer data—at minimum names, phone numbers, and email addresses—plus space for additional fields such as purchase history or demographic insights that we may add later.
• Build the database, populate it with a small sample dataset, and document the structure.
• Provide clear instructions (or simple scripts) so my team can run basic CRUD operations and export records to CSV when needed.

Acceptance criteria
• A functioning database on the agreed platform, accessible from a desktop client or web UI.
• Well-commented schema/scripts delivered in an editable format.
• A brief hand-off guide explaining how to add new columns or migrate the data if we scale up.
