Automated PDF Inventory Management

I need a turnkey solution that watches a dedicated folder on our local server, reads every stock-dispatch PDF dropped there, and pulls out the roll-level details we receive from multiple vendors—Micron, Size, Roll Number, Gross Weight, Net Weight, Invoice Number, Vendor Name and Dispatch Date. Once captured, that data must flow straight into a master inventory database, stay synchronised, and drive all downstream reports.

Key functions I expect:
• Continuous PDF scraping from the local path I specify, with no manual trigger required.
• Central master inventory that grows with each import; I’m open to whichever SQL back-end you feel best suits the job as long as it is industry-standard and easy for us to maintain.
• Live stock dashboards that let me view balances by Micron and by Size at a glance.
• Automatic quantity adjustment the moment a dispatch is marked, ensuring the figures on-screen always match the warehouse floor.
• One-click packing list generation in clean, branded PDF format.
• Stock summaries exportable in both Excel and PDF to share with finance and logistics.
• Full error logging and an audit trail that records who did what, and when.

Deliverables will include the complete source code, database schema, deploy scripts, a brief admin guide and a short hand-off session so my team can run and extend the system confidently.
