MS Access Audit Database
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a Microsoft Access-based database that lets me manage and review compliance-related records for internal audits. The core of the build is an easy-to-use front end tied to strong back-end tables, all living in one .ACCDB file (or a split front-/back-end setup if that keeps things faster).
Here’s what I must have:
• Robust audit-trail logging that stamps every insert, update, and delete with date-time, user ID, and the prior value. The trail should be tamper-resistant yet viewable through a dedicated form.
• Structured tables and relationships tailored to compliance reports, with look-ups and referential integrity enforced.
• Intuitive forms for adding, editing, and searching records.
• A handful of queries that let me filter by date range, regulation tag, or audit status so I can spot issues quickly.
Nice to have (not mandatory, but please flag if you can bundle them in): automated report snapshots sent to Excel or PDF, basic data-validation prompts, or a dashboard summary.
Deliverables
1. The working Access file(s) with all objects unlocked for future edits.
2. A brief setup/usage guide (PDF or Word) outlining table structure, user workflow, and how the audit log operates.
3. One round of tweaks after initial review to iron out minor changes.
I already have Office 365 in place; no third-party add-ins preferred unless they’re free. Aim for a clean, professional UI that matches standard Access themes so staff can pick it up without training overhead.
If you have previous Access audit or compliance builds in your portfolio, that will help me gauge fit. Let me know your development timeline and any questions you need answered before kicking off.
