WooCommerce PC Components Store
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I want to launch a WooCommerce-based shop that sells Processors, Graphics Cards and Memory Modules—fed directly from my distributors. The suppliers will give me CSV files (delivered over SFTP and XML), and I only need the catalogue and stock levels refreshed once every 24 hours.
Here is what I need done:
• Create an automated import routine that pulls the XML feed and the SFTP-hosted CSV each night, merges the data and populates the store with accurate titles, specs, images, prices and stock.
• Map supplier attributes to WooCommerce attributes so shoppers can filter by chipset, capacity, clock speed, etc.
• Add a simple global pricing rule (percentage markup) and make it easy for me to tweak in the future.
• Schedule a daily cron job to update stock quantities and deactivate items that go out of stock.
• Ensure the front-end looks sharp on desktop and mobile with a fast/lightweight theme.
• Hand over clear instructions so I can trigger a manual sync or adjust the schedule if required.
If you have experience connecting WooCommerce to mixed XML/CSV feeds and you can keep the code lightweight and well documented, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this and how quickly you can get me live.
