Synapse-to-Fabric Structured Data Migration
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I need my existing Microsoft Synapse environment lifted into Microsoft Fabric with zero changes to the data itself. The entire estate is purely structured data, currently split between dedicated SQL pools in Synapse and files sitting in Azure Data Lake; no Cosmos DB or unstructured sources are involved.
The task is a direct, like-for-like migration: ingest everything from those SQL Server-based pools and Data Lake folders into Fabric (OneLake) while preserving schemas, permissions, partitioning and row counts. Because no transformations are required, success will be measured by parity—row counts must match, schemas must remain identical, and users should be able to run their current T-SQL queries in Fabric without modification.
Please bring solid experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory or Synapse pipelines, and the new Fabric Data Engineering workloads so we can script and automate the move, validate it, and cut over with minimal downtime. A brief plan outlining the migration approach, timeline, and verification steps will be the first milestone, followed by the actual data transfer and final validation sign-off.
