Retail EDI Operations Manager
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I run a fast–moving wholesale and e-commerce operation and need an experienced EDI manager who can step in immediately and keep orders flowing smoothly from purchase order to final invoice. SPS Commerce is the backbone of our trading network, so you must be completely comfortable navigating its dashboard, mapping documents, and troubleshooting errors. We also exchange files through DSCO and CommerceHub, so hands-on familiarity with those portals is important.
Day to day you will monitor the full order cycle, catch and correct any exceptions before they reach our 3PL, and keep every document fully compliant to avoid chargebacks. The three transactions that hit our system most often are:
• Purchase Orders (850)
• Advance Ship Notices / Acknowledgements (855 / 856)
• Invoices (810)
I’ll rely on you to:
• Own all mappings, edits, and re-processing of the above documents.
• Liaise with internal ops, the warehouse, and retail partners to confirm ship windows and carton labeling.
• Track and clear every error code in SPS Commerce—no open tickets left overnight.
• Produce weekly compliance summaries and highlight any risk of chargebacks.
The need is immediate, so please be ready to begin as soon as we agree on scope. If you have a proven track record managing retail EDI traffic on these exact platforms and can work independently with meticulous attention to detail, we should talk right away.
