Excel BOM–Teamcenter Integration

I need a complete workflow that starts with a clean, well-structured Excel Bill of Materials and ends with that same BOM living accurately inside our Siemens Teamcenter instance.

Here is the flow I have in mind:

• Build an Excel template that carries our company branding in the header and footer. All columns must follow the layout we already use internally, so I can hand the sheet to any engineer and have them recognise it instantly.
• Populate the template with a representative “company BOM” so we can prove the import routine.
• Import or map that sheet into Teamcenter, creating the BOM exactly as it appears in Excel—same hierarchy, item numbers, revisions, and descriptive fields.
• Demonstrate the result in Teamcenter to confirm every part and level landed correctly and the relationships are intact.

We already run current versions of Excel and Teamcenter, so please lean on the native import tools (TCE-BMIDE, Structure Manager or any script you prefer) rather than third-party add-ins unless there is a clear benefit.

Deliverables
1. Locked Excel template (.xlsx) with company logo and predefined columns.
2. Step-by-step notes or a lightweight script that performs the import.
3. A short screen-capture or live walkthrough proving the BOM exists inside Teamcenter exactly as expected.
