Automated Excel Quotation Template -- 2

I need a single-file Excel workbook, powered by VBA macros, that produces fully formatted quotations without any manual intervention. When I open the file and select a client, the macros should fetch the relevant product or service list, client information, and current pricing (including any predefined discounts) directly from my database, then lay everything out in a clean, print-ready sheet.

The macros must:
• Pull data in real time from the database connection I specify.
• Calculate line totals, subtotal, applicable discounts, taxes, and the grand total automatically.
• Update those figures instantly if I change quantities or add/remove items.

Acceptance criteria
1. A secure settings sheet where I can point to the database (connection string, table names, credentials).
2. A user-friendly quote sheet with protected formulas and unlocked input cells only where adjustments are allowed.
3. Buttons for “Refresh Data”, “Generate PDF”, and “Email Quote” (Outlook).
4. All calculations—total cost, tax, and discount—must match a parallel control sheet I will provide for testing.
5. Clear, well-commented VBA code so future edits are straightforward.
