Responsibilities:
1. Design and Implementation of Microsoft Purview Solutions:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Microsoft Purview solutions.
• Create comprehensive data governance strategies, considering data classification, labeling (sensitivity labels), retention policies, and protection mechanisms.
2. Data Security Solutions:
• Develop and implement data security measures within Microsoft Purview.
• Ensure Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Barriers, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management are effectively configured and monitored.
3. Data Governance Expertise:
• Utilize Microsoft Purview components such as Data Catalog, Data Estate Insights, Data Map, Data Policies, and Data Sharing.
• Implement data governance practices, including data audit, communication compliance, compliance manager, data lifecycle management, and eDiscovery.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and compliance officers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
o Proven experience designing and implementing data governance solutions using Microsoft Purview.
o Familiarity with data classification, labeling, and retention policies.
o Exposure to data security practices, including DLP and risk management.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Purview components (Data Catalog, Data Estate Insights, etc.).
o Knowledge of compliance tools such as Compliance Manager.
o Understanding of eDiscovery and records management.
Collaboration and Problem-Solving:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to address complex data governance challenges.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong soft skills and high Emotional Intelligence
