Bank Data Governance Framework Setup
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I am preparing a full data governance framework for a mid-size bank and need expert guidance to get it right from the start. The immediate priorities are data quality management, data security and privacy, and complete lifecycle management. My goal is to establish clear policies, workflows, and controls, then train our in-house data analysts so they can own the day-to-day stewardship without relying on long-term external support.
What I need from you
• Assess our current landscape and identify gaps against best-practice banking standards.
• Design practical policies, roles, and processes that address the three focus areas above.
• Recommend the right mix of tooling—metadata catalog, quality rules engine, access controls—and outline how they can be integrated with our existing stack (MS SQL Server, Power BI, and a growing AWS footprint).
• Deliver hands-on workshops and concise documentation that equips the analyst team to maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the framework.
Acceptance criteria
1. A documented governance charter signed off by stakeholders.
2. A step-by-step implementation playbook aligned to our technology stack.
3. Two live training sessions (recorded) plus quick-reference guides for the analysts.
4. A final review showing that critical data sets meet agreed quality and security benchmarks.
If you have led similar bank or financial-sector projects, especially using tools like Collibra, Informatica, or AWS Lake Formation, I would love to leverage that experience. Let me know your approach and expected timeline so we can get started quickly.
