SDS Consistency Software Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a program/software to streamline the process of creating consistent Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from various source files. Each file is a PDF or Word document, and the program should extract relevant text elements and fill them into a Word Document template.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extracting text elements: The software needs to identify and pull out the title and headings, paragraphs and descriptions, as well as tables and data fields from the source files and fill in the correct sections. No text should be lost.
- Template filling: The extracted information should be inserted into a predetermined Word Document template.I also have the Indesign working file as well.
Please note that the source files will be uploaded manually, so the software should be user-friendly and accessible for non-technical personnel. I am looking for a freelancer with experience in software development, particularly with document processing and data extraction. Ideally, you have a background in creating tools for document standardization. The attached are the template and 2 SDS examples of files we are working to get into the template formatting.
