Reddit Data Extraction Script using PRAW (Python)

Hi,

I need a Python script using PRAW (Reddit API) to collect data from a Reddit user account.

Requirements:

Extract all comments from a username

Filter by date (Oct 11, 2025 → present)

Count:

Total comments

Replies (to comments)

Top-level comments

Generate simple reports for each comment:

Incident ID (IR-001, etc.)

Comment link

Username

Comment text

Date

Technical:

Must use PRAW

Handle large data

Output: TXT / CSV / DOCX

Easy to run
