PDF Data Extraction & Entry -- 2
Budget: $2 – $264 USD
I have a batch of text-based PDFs that must be broken down into their core components and entered cleanly into an editable format. Every word, every table, and every embedded image needs to be lifted from the files and placed where it belongs without introducing typos, line-break errors, or formatting drift.
What you will actually do
• Copy or export all plain text.
• Recreate tables so the structure remains intact (spreadsheet or Word table is fine).
• Save images separately and reference them in the final document or sheet.
Deliver these back to me as:
1. A single folder containing the images in their original resolution.
2. An Excel or Google Sheet (one tab per source file) holding the text and tables in their original order.
3. The completed file renamed to match the source PDF so I can audit quickly.
Acceptance check
I will spot-compare random pages for 100 % text match, table alignment, and image count. Anything missing or mis-aligned will be sent back for correction.
When you reply, include a detailed project proposal outlining:
• Your extraction method (manual copy-paste, Adobe Acrobat export, custom script, etc.).
• How you will preserve table structure and image quality.
• Your quality-control steps and expected turnaround time.
That proposal is the key factor in my selection, so be specific.
