UK Greyhound Racing Data Scraper
Budget: £10 – £80 GBP
I need a lightweight piece of software that pulls greyhound-racing information from betting websites for every UK track. At a minimum the tool must let me:
• Choose key parameters—track, date, distance, and grade—to filter races.
• Retrieve all available historical form for every dog in the selected race.
• Generate today’s race cards and link each entry to that dog’s past form.
An easy-to-use interface or simple command line is fine, provided the data is clean and exportable (excel). We can start with a basic, working prototype; once I’ve confirmed the structure we can look at refinements together.
Before you begin coding, I’d like a quick chat so we can agree on the exact betting site(s) to target and confirm any access or anti-scraping considerations.
