I need a certified forensic specialist to examine data pulled from in-vehicle GPS units that are central to an ongoing legal dispute. Your task is to extract, authenticate, and interpret every recorded trip, then determine whether each journey followed the most reasonable route available at the time.

The data set consists solely of vehicle GPS logs; no mobile or wearable sources are involved. I can supply the raw binary files exported directly from the head units, the corresponding time stamps, and a copy of the system’s firmware for reference.

Because the results will be introduced as evidence, I will rely on you to:

• Preserve full chain of custody from acquisition through reporting.
• Reconstruct the historical routes with time, speed, and stop details.
• Run a comparative analysis against alternative paths to show where and how route choices differed from optimized options.
• Produce a clear, courtroom-ready report (PDF) plus the underlying working files (CSV, KML, or similar).

Please outline your methodology, the forensic tools you will use (e.g., Cellebrite, EnCase, Autopsy, or any proprietary GPS-specific utilities), and typical turnaround time. Experience providing expert testimony is a plus, though not mandatory at this stage.
