Financial KPI Extraction Tool
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Aim: To collect and organise financial KPI data into a spreadsheet. This tool will be part of multiple tools developed around each individual company. Flexibility and robustness is important. There is a long chain of further tool development post the completion of this one.
• Source: PDF documents: Stored locally, manually downloaded from Investor Relations websites
• Output: Spreadsheet: Ideally excel 360, consider googlesheets in drive.
Basic setup:
• One workbook per company. One pdf repository per company. File structure and location to be discussed.
• Within each workbook
o CompanySetup tab. First spreadsheet to contain key items of company information to be used in the workflow here, but also for other tools.
o CompanyModel tab to contain the period KPI pairs (and by default the list of required KPIs)
o …. Other setup sheets if required for the tool?

Use Cases:
• Start from scratch: Compile the operating KPI period pairs from scratch: build up quarterly, semi-annual, annual KPI. Workbook will be setup: Company Setup Tab completed, CompanyModel setup with array of Periods and required KPIs.
