Convert PDF Weights to Excel
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a repeating PDF report that lists individual weight records. I need every weight value pulled into an Excel workbook and the average calculated automatically.
The task breaks down into three clear steps:
• Extract all weight data from each PDF page without altering the original numbers.
• Place the extracted values into an organised Excel sheet (one row per record is fine).
• Build a simple formula or macro that returns the average of the weights I select—so if I filter or highlight certain rows, the average updates instantly.
I don’t need extra cleansing right now; just make sure the numbers come across accurately. Feel free to use any reliable method—Python (tabula-pdf, PyPDF), Power Query, or straight VBA—as long as the final file is an .xlsx I can open and tweak myself.
Once you send the workbook, I’ll test it on a fresh PDF; if the weights load correctly and the average refreshes when I change the selection, the job is complete.
