automate date changing in txt/tab file

I have around 2500 txt file that dates need to be changed from old dates to a specific date like 19-09-2022 or 20-09-2022. Doing it manually would take a long time and I'm hoping to get a solution for. the files has information's that shouldn't be deleted only the date need to be changed
