Xero Transaction Coding Bookkeeper
Budget: $2 – $8 AUD
I need an experienced Xero-savvy bookkeeper who can jump straight into my file and accurately code every outstanding transaction. The work is mostly routine data coding and bank feed reconciliation, but attention to detail is critical because I rely on these figures for monthly management decisions and end-of-year compliance.
Here’s how I see the engagement running smoothly:
• You receive secure access to Xero and a brief overview of my current chart of accounts.
• You categorise each transaction, matching receipts or descriptions to the correct account and tax treatment.
• Once everything is coded, you reconcile the bank balances and flag any anomalies so I can supply missing documents.
I keep communication simple: a running comments thread inside Xero or a shared sheet is fine, as long as I’m alerted to questions promptly. Ideally you have handled similar clean-ups before, understand GST settings, and know Xero shortcuts that keep the process efficient.
When the coding is complete and the balances reconcile to the cent, let me know and I will review, approve, and close off the period.
