I am looking for a web scraping expert to help gather product information from specific websites for my existing business. The ideal candidate should have experience in web scraping and be able to extract and organize product information efficiently.
I am working to develop a database of materials to be used for various inventory management projects. I will provide a xlsx file with both a manufacturer name & a catalog number for each item. I would like the web scraper to gather the following information and insert it in the appropriate cell for each item:
Unit price, Unit of measure, Item image (JPEG) or equal, Item Spec sheet (PDF),
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proficient in web scraping techniques and tools
- Familiarity with data extraction and organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Experience in scraping specific websites
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
