Project Title: Video Screenshots
We're collecting data on startups participating in the "Startup Battlefield" pitch competition. Your role involves retrieving screenshots from videos of these pitches on Youtube. Usually, typing [startup name] + [TechCrunch] on Youtube brings you right to the relevant pitch.
I will provide a list of startups that participated in the competition and I need you to search for the name of the startup on Youtube, open the video and make a screenshot of the entrepreneur. Make sure that you pause the video at a point, where you can make a screenshot of the entrepreneur in a frontal pose.
Additionally, we would like to document the following information:
- URL of the video.
- Number of video views.
- Video likes count.
- Video description.
- Video publishing date.
- Number of comments on the video.
- Video duration.
- Timestamp of pitch start in the video.
- Number of presenters for the startup.
- Dress code formality (on a scale from 1=Casual to 5=Formal).
Image Requirements:
- Frontal (important!) full-body screenshot of the pitching entrepreneur.
- Frontal (important!) face screenshot of the pitching entrepreneur (naming: [startup name]_body, e.g., spacex_face).
Data Handling:
- Use the attached Excel sheet to find the startup names and add the relevant information (test sheet with 10 cases attached)
- Save screenshots as JPEGs named "startupname_ID_body" and "startupname_ID_face" to a folder that you will share with me
Additional Information:
A sample case "In Diagnostics" is pre-filled in Excel to guide you. It's based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHjSrTGiyMQ. The initial Excel contains 10 rows, but the full collection will contain ca. 1'000 cases.
Screening and Selection:
Post-screening, shortlisted candidates will collect demo cases before final selection.
