Verify Text Data Accuracy
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have a batch of digital documents that must be double-checked line by line to be sure every piece of text is accurate and consistent with the source files I will provide. The task is purely data verification; the raw text is already keyed in—now I need a careful eye to confirm spelling, punctuation, and any subtle differences that might have slipped through.
You will receive:
• A master reference file in PDF and its corresponding text file.
• A spreadsheet template where you’ll log each discrepancy you find and note the correction.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Every page reviewed and either marked “verified” or accompanied by a clear correction note.
2. The log file returned in the same template I supply, with no formatting changes.
3. Fewer than three false positives or missed errors in a random spot-check.
Familiarity with standard proofreading marks, Excel or Google Sheets, and fast turnaround times are all big pluses. The project is straightforward but demands accuracy above all.
