Type Text from Scanned Images
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a collection of scanned images—well over fifty pages in total—containing pure text that I need converted into an editable digital document. Accuracy is critical; I want the typed version to mirror the original wording, punctuation, and basic layout so I can later format it for publication.
You may use the tools you’re most comfortable with—whether that’s Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or any reliable OCR-plus-proofread workflow—as long as the final file is delivered to me as an error-free, fully editable document. Please double-check character recognition, line breaks, and page flow; I’m not looking for a raw OCR dump.
When you send the completed document, I’ll run a quick spot-check against the scans. If everything matches, the job is done. If minor corrections are needed, just update and resend; I’ll be responsive so we can wrap this up quickly.
