Type Scanned Documents Accurately
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I have a collection of scanned documents that must be converted into clean, editable text. This is strictly a data-entry job—no content rewriting is needed—so accuracy and consistency are everything. You’ll be working with text data pulled directly from the scans, reproducing it word-for-word in a Word or Google Docs file while retaining any original headings, paragraphs, or basic formatting that appears on the page.
Every page you transcribe should:
• faithfully match the source wording, spelling, and structure
• be free of typos and extra spaces
• use the same line breaks whenever they carry meaning (e.g., bullet points or numbered lists)
I will provide high-resolution PDFs to ensure the text is legible. Once you return the finished document, I’ll spot-check against the scans; if everything lines up and the formatting looks clean, the task is complete.
Let me know your turnaround time for an initial batch of ten pages and any previous experience you have with similar text-only data entry from scanned sources.
