Text Entry into Google Sheets
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a batch of digital documents—mostly PDFs with a handful of Word files—that need their text paragraphs transferred into a Google Sheet. Every paragraph must appear in its own row, in the same order as the source, with punctuation and line breaks intact so later analysis scripts run cleanly.
A blank Google Sheet, already structured and shared via Google Workspace, will be waiting for you. All you have to do is:
• open each PDF or Word file,
• copy or accurately extract the text (use a reliable PDF text-capture/OCR tool if the content isn’t selectable),
• paste the paragraphs into the designated tab, one row per paragraph,
• double-check for encoding glitches, stray line breaks, or missing characters.
When a paragraph can’t be captured exactly (for instance, embedded images or illegible scans), simply flag the row in a short comment within the sheet so I can review it later.
That finished Google Sheet, fully populated and proof-read, is the only deliverable I need.
