Text Data Entry & Polish
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We have a 500 page family journal for a customer that has been AI-translated from cursive to text. We need someone to review the AI-transcription for accuracy, which sometimes involves consulting the original cursive. Once the text has been verified page-by-page, we need that text put into a document for printing. This document will need clear, consistent formatting. This is a family journal, so while I don't need someone correct any grammar or spelling errors you encounter, I do need the [sic] or whatever traditional way of noting that the error was the original writer's that is needed. I need someone to ensure the layout looks consistent—headings, bullet points, spacing, fonts, and similar details should all follow the same style.
I’m not asking for content restructuring—just accurate entry and professional-looking formatting.
You will be given access to a customer's private personal family records and will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement. You will be trained in using our specially-made digital archive platform.
Deliverables
- A final, fully edited document that is ready to be sent to print.
- Human review/completion of the entire 568 page journal.
